The LUX&EASY Signature Syggrou 234 hotel is looking for a Waiter/Waitress for permanent and full-time employment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that the opening and closing of the restaurant meets the standards as set by the department head
- Ensuring all steps during service are followed and requesting assistance promptly in case of delays
- Welcoming guests with a friendly attitude and a smile
- Presenting the menu and providing detailed information
- Excellent knowledge of the restaurant menu to offer clarifications or suggestions to customers
- Checking and maintaining preparation (mise en place) at safe levels for the smooth operation of the department
- Inspecting dishes and tableware for cleanliness and presentation, and reporting any issues to the department supervisor
- Excellent communication with other departments (kitchen-bar) to ensure high-quality service
- Assisting in recording the monthly inventory of the department
- Maintaining cleanliness standards to ensure proper implementation of hygiene and safety rules
- Performing any other auxiliary tasks as requested by the department supervisor
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of a tourism vocational school
- Proven experience of at least 2 years in a similar 4 or 5-star hotel
- Excellent knowledge of restaurant techniques
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Positive attitude oriented towards hospitality
- General knowledge of wine
- Ability to work in demanding conditions
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional behavior
- Consistency and efficiency
- Basic knowledge of hygiene, safety, and food and beverage management procedures
